Teenage Pregnancy

Discovering you are pregnant can be a scary experience and forces you to make a very adult decision. The important thing to remember is you're not alone - help is available.

Early warning signs

Early symptoms of pregnancy can include:

  • missed period
  • feeling sick
  • vomiting
  • sore breasts
  • tiredness
  • the need to urinate more often.

These symptoms don’t always mean that you are pregnant, so it is best to do a simple pregnancy test before you start worrying.

Although it is tempting to bury your head in the sand and pretend it is not happening, it’s essential that you find out if you’re pregnant as soon as possible. Waiting and hoping that the pregnancy will disappear of its own accord is definitely not the answer!
